Fionnuala joined the firm in 2005. Born in Dublin, Ireland she graduated from the University of Cardiff with a degree in law. She began her career with a leading legal firm in Ireland and brings property management and commercial real estate expertise to her role at the firm. Fionnuala enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

Bonnie joined the firm in 2014. After graduating from York University with a Bachelor of Arts and from Seneca College with a paralegal designation, she was a law clerk at Toronto law firm, Shibley Righton LLP, for 9 years. Thereafter, while staying at home to raise her child, she became involved in community based programs. She continues her community involvement through her role as the administrator of the North York Knights Hockey Association. She enjoys traveling, reading, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Joan Smart has joined the team at Portfolio Management Corporation, after almost three years as Vice President Finance and Operations at the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research. In 2018, Joan returned to Toronto after twenty plus years working/living in Cleveland, Ohio. Joan worked in a HNW family office in Gates Mills, Ohio where she managed the family’s finances. In this role, she interacted regularly with lawyers for estate planning, contracts and for the family foundation; accountants for tax planning; fiduciaries such as banks and private wealth managers. Her eighteen years in the investment business provided the sales and analytical skills needed to start her own energy-saving business dealership, Smart Energy Systems in Cleveland in 2004. Joan worked in both the client and dealer side of the investment business in Canada. She has served on not-for-profit boards and committees in all capacities over the years in both Canada and the USA. She is looking forward to getting involved in Toronto’s CFA Society and not-for-profit organizations.
